Les jardines suspendus de Marqueyssac

Marqueyssac Castle Park is one of the most beautiful gardens in southwest of France. It has an area of 22 hectares, six kilometres of paths and 150000 box woods.

The most spectacular panorama of the Dordogne from Maqueyssac gardens, 130 meters above river, an exceptional view enfolds: Domme, the Rouge-Gageac and Saint-Julian de Cenac villages, Castelnaud Castle and, above the spur of Marqueyssac like a bow advancing out over the valley, a view stretching 10 kilometres framed by the castles of Fayrac and Beynac. The area enchant visitors by a sense of space and beauty.
